The field trip, held from Friday to Sunday, 19–21 September 2025, will visit the Blawan Ijen Geothermal Field, located near several Ijen Geopark geosites such as Kawah Wurung (adjacent to the power plant), Lava Flow Plalangan, Blawan Hot Springs & Lava, Gentongan Waterfall, Kalipait Acidic Stream, Ijen Acidic Crater Lake, and the famous Ijen Blue Fire.
